After the buffet breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Montreaux. Montreux is a traditional resort town on Lake Geneva. Nestled between steep hills and the lakeside, it's known for its mild microclimate and the Montreux Jazz Festival, held in July. The town's promenade is lined with flowers, sculptures, Mediterranean trees and grand Belle Époque buildings. Offshore is a medieval island castle, Château de Chillon, with ramparts, formal halls and a chapel with 14th-century murals.
Bern
Later continue your drive to the capital of Switzerland, Bern. Bern is built around a crook in the Aare River. It traces its origins back to the 12th century, with medieval architecture preserved in the Altstadt (Old Town). The Swiss Parliament and diplomats meet in the NeoRenaissance Bundeshaus (Federal Palace). The Französische Kirche (French Church) and the nearby medieval tower known as the Zytglogge both date to the 13th century.
Zurich
Continue your drive to Zurich. The city of Zurich, a global center for banking and finance, lies at the north end of Lake Zurich in northern Switzerland. The picturesque lanes of the central Altstadt (Old Town), on either side of the Limmat River, reflect its pre-medieval history. Visit the Ice palace and experience the breathtaking panoramic view from the Sphinx Observation Terrace overlooking the longest glacier in the Alps - the Altesch Glacier. On arrival we proceed to the pier where we board a boat Sail over the Guidecca Canal, past the Adriatic Sea to arrive at St. Mark’s Square – the main square of Venice. This astonishingly wonderful lagoon city is renowned for the beauty of its setting, architecture and artworks. Enjoy free time at St. Mark's Square with the Basilica, Dodge’s Palace, Campanile and the Bridge of Sighs. Overnight stay. (Breakfast & Dinner).
After breakfast Proceed to Rome. On arrival start your guided tour with an expert English-speaking guide.
